The Nike Air Max Penny GS "Penny Story" is the youth sizing of the colorway of Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway’s first signature shoe inspired by the 1997 Super Bowl commercial, “‘’Lil Penny’s Super Bowl Party.” The shoe’s color scheme takes inspiration from the colors found in the opening scene of the commercial. Specifically, the shoe is complete with a white leather base that’s contrasted with Light Lemon Twist and Field Purple accents. The aforementioned accents appear on the tongue, lining, piping, Max Air unit in the heel of the midsole, and on the “Nike” and “Penny” branding.
